• Redtail Ranch:

  We have 35 acres to share. You are welcome to come here and hike/explore. Let us know and we will give you the rundown. There is alot to see and do...and the wildflowers are beginning

• Clear Creek Canyon: wooded hiking next to a mid size white water river. Insane beauty,under 20 minutes away. Get directions from us.

• Idaho Springs:
  Visit Idaho Springs, the heart of the Colorado Gold Rush, for mine tours at Argo Mill or Phoenix Gold Mine. Soak at Indian Hot Springs, enjoy craft brews at Tommyknocker Brewery, try the famous mountain pies at Beau Jo’s Pizza, and grab breakfast at our favorite spot, Mainstreet Cafe.

• Black Hawk:
  Catch the excitement at Monarch Casino and enjoy the Founders Day Festival happening that weekend—a lively event full of fun and local flavor.

• Golden:
  Check out Golden’s rich history and stop by the Buffalo Rose , which claims to be the oldest bar in Colorado. Established in 1859 as the International Bowling Saloon, it has served as a saloon, hotel, and even a public pool known as the Golden Plunge. Today, it offers a vibrant atmosphere with live music, a full menu, and a variety of drinks.

  Also, check out the White Water Rafting thru golden on the Clear Creek river. There are several outfitters here in Golden (this is one outfitter)

• Golden Gate Canyon State Park: It is 15 minutes away from our home and great for hiking or soaking in world class views Take a drive

• Lookout Mountain:
  Visit the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave with stunning views and a deep dive into Western history.

• Red Rocks: This famous music amphitheatre is also a great place go during the day and walk arount the property, which is unbelievable. It's worth doing and its not far.
